Also, as in dhoom prequel, the heist were not engraved as it could have been and there were few misses here and there. It came as a sort of anti climax because i was expecting it to be tougher than the previous ones. The movie could have been better if there would have been a bit of character development and the last robbery being the best. Bips impresses in the first half and is wasted in second half. Aish is convincing in the emotional scenes.
Hritik impresses as a calculating, stylish thief. Uday is good but he didn't have much to do as per the story. His one liners and the conversation with Uday are the soul of the movie. Acting wise, Abhishek had the ground set due to the prequel and he delivers dynamite. All the newcomers are stunning and fits the bill as cool, stylish with razor sharp dialogs. The heists are in league with steal, MI-2 (esp the diamond one).
What makes it interesting are the robberies and the techniques used. The story is simple as a cat and mouse game. Post intermission, the whole setup is in Brazil for the grand Finale and a couple of twists in the tale. On the other hand Abhi, Uday and Bips are planning a trap on him. He meets Aish on one of his heist in India and they decide to work as a team. Mr A is a master thief who specializes in robbing the rare, perfect and priceless stuff from all over the world. It starts with a train robbery by Hrithik as Aryan aka 'A' somewhere in the deserts. The movie definitely raises the bar for all the Bollywood movie to come. Its a relief that it fulfills most of the expectations.
Does ACP Jai Dixit manage to nab Mr.A? Go on. From the desert of Namibia to the backwaters of Goa, the mean streets of Mumbai and the ancient forts of Rajasthan and finally to wild and exotic Rio Brazil. The cops, Jai, Shonali and Ali and they are after Aryan and Sunehri - The Robbers. She makes him an offer he finds very hard to refuse. Once in Mumbai Mr.A finds his match in Sunehri (Aishwarya Rai). For the last two years Shonali has been tracking these amazing thefts and is now an expert on this thief, who no one has seen.
